Italiaanse balustervaas “Pezza Unica” van Giotto Giannoni
Giotto Giannoni (1895-1963) stichtte in 1919 zijn werkplaats annex winkel in Monte San Savino (Le Fonti). De winkel werd in korte tijd hét centrum van de Toscaanse keramiek. Klanten waren onder meer Winston Churchill, Eisenhower en het Koninklijk Huis van Savoye. Na zijn dood heeft de familie de zaak, die nog steeds bestaat, als familiebedrijf voortgezet. De hoogte van deze “Pezza Unica” is 31 cm. De vaas dateert uit eind jaren ’60. Vraagprijs € 875.

Giotto Giannoni (1895-1963) founded in 1919 his workshop in Monte San Savino (Le Fonti). The shop became very soon the centre of the Toscan ceramics. Customers were Winston Churchill, Eisenhower and the House of Savoy. After his death his family continued the buisiness, which is still in existence. The height of this “Pezza Unica” is 31 cm.
