Color print of an early Umanak sailing expedition circa 1880
The photographer came problably from the unknown two mast sailing vessel in the front. Handwritten (at the front) in Dutch: “Groenland (Umanak kolonie) Let op de drijvende ijsbergen.” (At the back): “Umanak kolonie, ijsbergen”. The print is glued on the paper. One small restauration in the print left below. Dimensions (in total) 32,5 x 25 cm. Asking price € 25.
