Fries Makkumer sierschotel 1880
Koninklijke Tichelaar in Makkum is het oudste (1572) nog bestaande keramische bedrijf in Nederland. Deze sierschaal is gesigneerd met de dubbele T (= de broers Tichelaar) en is van rond 1880. Curieus is dat de scheur is ontstaan tijdens het (glazuur)bakken. Diameter 36 cm, hoogte 6 cm. Vraagprijs € 145.

Koninklijke (Royal) Tichelaar in Makkum is the oldest (est. 1572) still existing ceramic company in the Netherlands. This plate is signed with double T (= the brothers Tichelaar) and is from about 1880. Note that the crack is occured during the firing of the glaze. Diameter 36 cm, height 6 cm. Asking price € 145
